CONDITIONS FOR AFFILIATION TO THE IJMB

Conditions for Affiliation

• Must be established by GOVERNMENT, either at State or Federal Level, or by deserving PRIVATE organizations.


• Must either have been in existence for at least three years during which they must have been running the programme for which they were established, be they Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, Schools of Arts and Sciences, Schools of Preliminary Studies, Colleges of Advanced and Professional Studies, etc.


• Where an institution is newly established by a State or Federal Government or private organization solely for the purpose of running the IJMB programme, it must apply for affiliation through the appropriate authority (the Governing Board, Ministry of Education or Council of the Institution).


• Where an additional institution is to be affiliated in a State that already has an affiliated institution, the following parameters shall be taken into consideration
  • Speciality
  • Projected Candidate Population
  • Location
  • Ownership (Private, Federal or State Government)
  • Any other parameter the Board may wish to consider in approving the affiliation.
